What's the difference between the chrome and aluminum stands?

Chrome stands weigh 4 to 7 pounds and are best used for permanent or long-term displays, or displays in windy or high traffic areas where the display might be bumped or blown over easily.  One (MS3) of the chrome stands is adjustable, the rest are a fixed height.

Aluminum stands weigh 1 to 2 pounds and are best used for photos or in protected areas.  They work well with all torso forms.  These stands may not work well with full-size mannequins without additional weight being applied to the base.  Both aluminum stands are adjustable.
